Sungun copper factory`s water supply, pumping installations and tailings disposal and transfer

Project Description:

Services: Design & construction supervision

Objectives: Development & Rehabilitation of Raw water supply and tailings disposal of sungun copper mine.

Upgrading Tailing Dam & Waste Disposal System:

1- Actual height of tailing dam at the end of mine's operation period (30 years) 178 m

2- Two Tailings pump stations for waste transmission with 50% tail density and 1375 m3/hr discharge and pumping head of 5985 kpa

3-Two Tailings pipe lines, each of them has 10 km length with 450 mm & 500mm diameters

Return water transfer system

1- Two pontoon pump stations, one station with 2600 m3/hr discharge capacity and pumping head of 160 m and the other one with 2000 m3/hr discharge capacity and pumping head of 50 m

2- Steel return water pipelines, total 11km length, with 600 and 400 mm diameters

Raw water supply system from Ahar Dam

1- Two pump station with discharge capacity of 320 m3/hr and 420 m3/hr and pumping head of 1260 m at Ahar Dam

2- Two steel pipelines with length of 36 km and 300 mm & 400 mm diameters from Ahar Dam to Sungun mine
